I don't know when you qualify something as a holiday tradition. I have been baking and gifting Pine-nut Rosemary cookies every year since I discovered them in a winter time Martha Stewart magazine several years ago. They are savory, sweet and salty, my three favorite things. The unique flavor of olive oil, sea salt, sugar and butter work so well with the earthy main ingredients. This year we've been planning an Italian style Christmas feast and we'll be sure to include these delicious cookies with our after dinner coffee. Here's the link to Martha's original recipe.
